Dallin is WALKING!!!

Well life is changing here at the Thornock house...Dallin started to walk today. He will be 10 months old the beginning of April. He is just growing up so fast! I guess he is trying to catch up to sister Holly.

Wow, I can't believe that my little girl is 3. She is growing up so fast. We had a little party for her with some of our friends and their kiddos. We told Holly on Sunday that her birthday was on Monday and she got really excited. She said that she was going to have a pinata and that she was going to hit it and candy and toys would fall out. So the next morning we went a picked out a pinata. She chose one that looked like a dog. She carried it around all day and called it her pet. She even put a jacket on it when we went outside. I was really nervous that she was going to freak out when it broke, but candy and toys are a great distraction. Some of Holly's favorite things include...riding her bike, playing with friends, Daddy, books, library story time, Little People play sets, and bath time. She is a great big sister to Dallin and we just love her so much.

Dallin is 8 Months Old

Dallin has been very busy this month. He has been on the move now for about 3 weeks. (I am finally getting around to posting the video of his first crawl.) He is a very fast little crawler now. We have pulled out the baby gates to protect him from falling down the stairs, and to make it more difficult for mom NOT to fall down the stairs. :) He has also started to pull himself up to standing at the couch, the stairs and sisters toddler bed. (which she doesn't really like) He also got his first tooth about 2 weeks ago and this morning I noticed his second. My little guy is sure growing up fast.

For Christmas we decided to go to Disneyland with the kiddos. Holly is almost 3 so we thought we would take advantage of the last chance to get her into the park for free. We had a really fun time, but the weather tried to spoil our fun. We tried to go right before Christmas and ended up running into record breaking storms. The weather reports were saying that there was more rain on that one day than Southern Cal had ever seen. Disneyland canceled their parades and a lot of the rides were shut down. We ended up heading to Arizona early for Christmas and then went back to Disneyland after the holiday. The weather was much better the second time. All in all it was really fun. I mean how can you go wrong at Disneyland, the happiest place on earth!

Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas this year. We were able to travel to Arizona and spend time with both sides of the family. Dallin had a great first Christmas and Holly was such a great unwrapping helper. The kids looked so cute in their Christmas pjs, and I had a lot of fun shopping for them.

Meeting Santa

Well this is the 3rd year in a row where we have cried when we saw Santa. Maybe next year we can be tear free.
